Volunteers are the backbone of the Friendship Circle. They play a crucial role in the success of the programs we offer. Special friendships are made with both the participant and the family which often last a lifetime.

I love how the Friendship Circle allows me to do what I am passionate about. It had also given me a lifetime friend, Ian, and I love that I am able to work with people who have special needs and at the same time incorporate Jewish values.

Volunteering at the Friendship Circle encourages compassion, sensitivity and leadership and fosters both a commitment and a willingness to give of one's time. It's a great opportunity to meet like-minded people who share similar interests to you. Gain a natural sense of accomplishment through helping others and broaden your horizons by interacting with new people and situations.
